In “Elena Undone”, elegant and refined Elena (beautiful Necar Zadegan, TV’s 24 ) is a devoted wife to her pastor husband, mother to her teenage son and daughter to her traditional Indian family. For so many years she has been living her life on autopilot. Grief-stricken lesbian writer Peyton (stunning Traci Dinwiddie, TV’s “Supernatural”) is struggling to move on from recent hardship. When the two meet they form an immeasurable bond that shakes the foundation of their sheltered worlds and Elena is confronted with intense and unexpected feelings for a woman.

As their relationship takes on a life of its own, what ensues is one of the most passionate and intimate female-on-female scenes ever filmed (including the longest kiss in cinema history). Equal parts charming, funny and poignant as well as smoldering and sensual, this beautifully shot film is based on writer/director Nicole Conn’s own life.

Nancy Newhart, Chairperson, LGBTQ & FRIENDS and “MAKE IT SO SOCIAL” has said: “this movie was so validating after coming out years ago from a 16 year marriage to a professional man. I watched it over and over* to absorb every nuance that mirrored my own self-discovery as a lesbian. It is a classy love story that reflects true love with beautifully portrayed lesbian lovemaking like no other film I had ever seen”.

*I won’t tell you how many times I watched this or you might think I’m nuts, but this is how “hungry” I and others in the LGBTQ community have been to see our lives realistically portrayed onto the big screen; something that is taken for granted by heterosexuals. I know. I used to think I was one. :=)
