| Practices that Awaken Joy|
Awakening Joy explores the principles and practic- es that bring us more peace, well-being and happi- ness. The program is Buddhist-based and backed by the findings of neuroscientists. We will use James Baraz’s book, “Awakening Joy: 10 steps that will put you on the Road to Real Happiness” as our guide. The ten steps we will focus on are Integrity, Mindfulness, Gratitude, Finding Joy in Difficult Times, Integrity, The Joy of Letting Go, Loving Ourselves, Connection with Others, Compassion and The Joy of Being. The format for each class will include guided meditation, readings, discussion questions, tools to use to create more joy in your life, sharing and singing. There will be ten sessions held every other week on Wednesday afternoons from 1-3 starting on January 11th.

| Faith Like a River|
Explore the dynamic course of Unitarian, Universalist, and Unitarian Universalist (UU) history—the people, ideas, and movements that have shaped our faith heritage. Place yourself into our history and consider its legacies. What lessons do the stories of our history teach that can help us live more faithfully in the present? What lessons do they offer to be lived into the future?
