Youth Social Action consults with the YRUU group and its advisors to determine projects for each year. Representives from youth social action are also involved in bringing congregational social activities to the YRUU.
Past Activities
June - We will be helping with a waterway cleanup project in Santa Clara County along with youth from San Jose and Redwood City UU congregations.
March / April - Received training and participated in hosting guests for Winter Nights, a mobile homeless shelter hosted at MDUUC.
December / January - Hosted a book drive for Invisible Children, an organization which supports child soldiers in the war-torn region
of Northern Uganda.
