Social Justice
In light of the current crisis in funding for public schools, the board has approved a Social Action Committee request for K-12 public school students to be allowed to solicit donations to school fundraisers at the Social Action table through June 2010. Any families wanting to do school fundraising should contact Joanne Scott of the Social Action Committee.
Note
- Fundraisers must be to benefit public schools only; not other groups.
- Parents will be expected to supervise their children aged 11 and under.
- All families wishing to do fundraising for their school must contact Joanne Scott in advance for scheduling and approval.
