The Fellowship Dinner is a family event, so bring spouses/partners and children. We will have a special children’s party including a bouncy house! There will be nursery care for young children. The adult dinner is potluck, so get out your favorite recipe and help make this a meal to remember. Please prepare your dish to serve 10 people. Desserts and beverages will be provided including beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea. If you want a special wine with dinner please BYOB.
Potluck Assignments: People with last names starting with:
- A-G bring entrees
- H - M, appetizers
- N - Z, salads and sides.
After dinner we will hear exciting news about our present and future as a congregation. We also will hear from Greg Ward, Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula and Linda Laskowski, the Pacific Central District representative to the UUA. Greg and Linda will share with us how our UU movement can spread and have influence in the greater community. This will also be an occasion to recognize our longstanding members and applaud their years of effort to bring us to where we are today.

RECENT EVENTS

3nd Annual Winter Ball Saturday, January 21, 2012, 6:30-9:15pm
This event started off-site in 2009 as an Inaugural Ball to celebrate the Presidency of Barak Obama. Attendance was huge, with many same-gender couples coming out to dance publically for the first time in years. In 2010, a grand Silver and Black Formal Ball, where jeans and tuxedos were de rigueur, was celebrated in the newly built Bortin Hall. In 2011 the ball returned with a Winter Wonderland Theme. This year, come to the BIG BAND WINTER BALL.
Swing Dance Lesson from 6:30 to 7:15
Dance from 7:15 to 9:15
Feel free to dress-up and/or dress in the style of the Big Band era. (There will be a prize for the person or couple in the most striking period (1930's/1940's) costume.)
- We're asking for a $5.00 donation per person
- Bring Your Own Drinks (ginger ale, lemon aide, coffee and water will be served)
- Bring a snack and/or treat to share
Whether you dance or like to watch, this is an entertaining and much talked about evening for all!
