Many MDUUC members and friends are really using our website these days -- to read a sermon, download the newsletter, check the calendar, learn committee news, etc. What else could make mduuc.org more useful, even indispensable, for you?
About 27 people joined this conversation on 22nd to discuss possible features they were interested in. They then were asked to select their top three by raising their hand.
Features people were interested in (with number of votes for priority) were:
- Online class registration (12)
- An easier link to "This Week at MDUUC" information, currently available as a link from the bottom of the calendar (10)
- Online pledging and/ or class payments (10)
- Offer a computer class on "How to use the website", and/ or links to text or video showing how (5)
- Member Directory -password protected, with people's permission to post (4)
- Web sign up for weekly announcements email (4)
- Blogs - e.g. opportunity to respond to minister's or intern's column (4)
- Child care reservations (3)
- Recording services, e.g. on Youtube (3)
- Increased standardization across the web, including reference to other resources people are using, like Facebook (2)
- Photographs of events at MDUUC - note most people were out of votes by this time (2)
- Committee meeting minutes - there was some interest, but people were out of votes! (1)
